Our Story

Inspired by a passion for guitar and environmentalism, Tuffocean was born during a beach cleanup in Tofino, British Columbia.

About

Over 90% of all plastics are never recycled.

On top of that, millions of tons of plastic are being dumped into the ocean every year, harming marine life and human health.

Microplastics are killing fish and ocean creatures at an alarming rate, while toxins are passed up the food chain through bioaccumulation.

Tuffocean is helping to tackle these problems by making products from reprocessed post-industrial plastic and donating a portion of all proceeds to ocean cleanup and conservation efforts.

Our vision is a world where oceans are healthy and free of plastic, and guitar equipment is made from recycled materials wherever possible. 

Tuffocean is an environmental social enterprise. Our mission is to provide musicians with environmentally responsible products made from reprocessed materials, while donating a portion of revenues to ocean cleanup and conservation.
